Elizabeth and Robin’s intimate wedding was an emotional, warm and powerful one. Tears of joy, words that will be remembered for a lifetime and uncontrollable fits of laughter were shared amongst dear friends and family. Meaningful vows were read on a summer’s evening, in a wild overgrown meadow in the mountains of Andalusia, Spain. The bride, beautiful and goddess like wore a floaty bohemian gown with to-die-for flared sleeves, designed and made by her mother and the groom and bridal party dressed in warm earthy shades harmonising with the wedding design.
An Andalusian rustic country cottage that sits on acres and acres of luscious green land encircled with breathtaking mountain views is enough to make anyone feel giddy with excitement. But, when the owner’s ultimate goal is to design a space that is self-sufficient taking sustainability one step further, to land regeneration with the art of permaculture, then that’s the icing on the cake.
Their vows were read under a canopy of trees and flowers, a Spanish guitarist played softly, the sunset painted the sky with oranges, pinks and purples and left a lingering warm glow behind. Bold, vibrant tones were the basis for the styling, the florals were an explosion of colour and the places settings individually hand painted. Laura and Jamie shared a romantic dinner with their nearest and dearest under a million sparkly lights. Speeches were given, laughter, tears and love filled the atmosphere.
