Their vows were read under a canopy of trees and flowers, a Spanish guitarist played softly, the sunset painted the sky with oranges, pinks and purples and left a lingering warm glow behind. Bold, vibrant tones were the basis for the styling, the florals were an explosion of colour and the places settings individually hand painted. Laura and Jamie shared a romantic dinner with their nearest and dearest under a million sparkly lights. Speeches were given, laughter, tears and love filled the atmosphere.
Natalia and John, a foodie yoga-loving couple from New Jersey, knew exactly how they wanted to celebrate their wedding day. A family gathering style party with relaxed vibes and a natural flow, local seasonal food and lots of it, live music throughout, a clean minimalist aesthetic and nature wild nature. It was emotional, it was breathtaking and an absolute dream to design.
What would be the most important thing for you in your wedding?
For Susana and Rodolfo, it was to have their family and friends present. This fun-loving couple from Venezuela, now living in Manchester wanted to keep things simple and memorable. They wanted to spend time with each and every guest and show them the best time ever as they would be travelling across the Atlantic to celebrate with them.
When Marisol & Alberto described the way they imagined their wedding, I couldn't hold the excitement in, I knew it was going to be something truly special and unique, just like the two of them. Both lovers of nature and animals, their dream was to say thier vows under a full moon in a secluded rustic country house, in the Andalusian countryside. The perfect ingredients for an unforgettable night.
Driving a few miles out of the city and into the mountains that border Cordoba, you will find an old cortijo resting on a hilltop overlooking the picturesque landscape that surrounds it. As you follow rustic signposts dotted along the road and drive up the flowery passageway into the venue, you feel as though you have entered a luscious garden. The cool air breeze will wash over you as the scents of jasmine lavender and lemon trees fill your nostrils.
The luxury Spanish country house also boasts nine luxury rooms that undoubtedly keep with the atmospheric ‘cortijo’ feel that runs throughout the hotel. Most rooms come with a large bathtub and views of the stunning surrounding countryside. Each has been individually designed with scrupulous attention to detail in the decor, with a wonderful level of privacy through their own sun terraces.
